Description
Caramel Apple Grapes are a fun, bite-sized twist on classic caramel apples—perfect for fall snacking, Halloween parties, or festive grazing boards. Crisp green grapes are dipped in caramel and rolled in crunchy toppings for a sweet, mess-free treat that’s ready in minutes.
Ingredients
-
1 pound (450 g) green grapes (firm and tart)
-
1 cup (240 ml) thick caramel sauce
-
1 cup (100 g) crushed peanuts, pecans, or walnuts (alternatives: crushed pretzels, graham crackers, or sprinkles)
-
Toothpicks (for dipping and serving)
Instructions
-
Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes—moisture prevents caramel from sticking.
-
Insert a toothpick into the stem end of each grape.
-
Warm the caramel slightly if needed to reach a smooth, dippable consistency.
-
Place chosen toppings in separate small bowls.
-
Dip each grape into caramel, coating evenly and allowing excess to drip off.
-
Immediately roll the caramel-coated grape in your topping of choice.
-
Place on parchment or wax paper to set. Let sit for about 30 minutes, or chill in the fridge if needed.
-
Serve fresh and enjoy!
Notes
Dry grapes thoroughly to help the caramel stick.
Rewarm caramel briefly if it begins to thicken while dipping.
Chill before serving to firm up caramel coating.
Try different toppings like crushed cookies, mini chocolate chips, or colored sprinkles.
Best enjoyed the same day; they can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
