- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup matchstick carrots
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked macaroni noodles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and diced onion and cook until browned.
- Stir in garlic and cook briefly.
- Sprinkle in flour and stir until combined.
- Slowly add chicken broth and simmer.
- Add heavy cream and seasonings and stir well.
- Add carrots and macaroni and bring to a light boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until pasta is tender.
- Stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted.
- Serve warm.
