Description
This Cheesy Pull Apart Christmas Tree Bread is a buttery, gooey, festive delight perfect for holiday dinners.
Ingredients
3 cups bread flour
1 tsp instant dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp kosher salt
1 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
8½ oz mozzarella
1 egg
1 tbsp water
¼ cup butter
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp rosemary
½ cup parmesan
red pepper flakes
marinara sauce
Instructions
1. Mix dry ingredients and milk; rest 10 minutes.
2. Knead in butter for 10–15 mins until smooth; let rise 1–1½ hrs.
3. Cut cheese into cubes; divide dough into 20g balls; stuff with cheese.
4. Arrange balls into a Christmas tree shape; proof 1 hr.
5. Brush egg wash; bake 20 mins at 425°F.
6. Brush with herb butter; sprinkle Parmesan and red pepper flakes.
7. Serve warm with marinara.
