Description
Cherry Limeade is a cold, refreshing non-alcoholic drink made with fresh lime juice, lemon-lime soda, and maraschino cherries served over crushed ice.

- Crushed ice
- 1–2 medium limes, thinly sliced
- 1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, drained with syrup reserved
- 1 cup chilled lime juice
- 1/2 cup granulated superfine sugar
- 1 bottle (2 liters) chilled lemon-lime soda
Instructions
- Fill a large pitcher halfway with crushed ice and add lime slices.
- Drain maraschino cherries and reserve the syrup.
- In a bowl, stir lime juice and sugar until the sugar begins dissolving.
- Pour the lime juice mixture into the pitcher.
- Add reserved cherry syrup and stir gently.
- Add maraschino cherries to the pitcher.
- Slowly pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda.
- Stir lightly and serve immediately over crushed ice.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for the brightest flavor.
- Add soda just before serving to keep the drink fizzy.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to one day.
