- ¾ cup green bell pepper

- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 2½ cups chicken broth

- Fresh parsley
- Cooked white rice
Instructions
- Brown seasoned chicken and set aside
- Cook butter and flour into a caramel-colored roux
- Add vegetables and cook until soft
- Stir in garlic, seasoning, herbs, and broth
- Return chicken and simmer until thick
