- 1 box brownie mix plus ingredients listed on package
- 3/4 cup chocolate frosting
- 15 ounces almond bark
- 1 can cherry pie filling or maraschino cherries
- Wax paper for setting
Instructions
- Bake brownies according to package instructions and let cool completely.
- Crumble brownies into a large bowl and mix with chocolate frosting until mixture holds together.
- Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons brownie mixture and flatten slightly.
- Place one cherry in the center and wrap brownie mixture around it completely.
- Roll into balls and place on a tray.
- Freeze brownie bombs for 20 minutes.
- Melt almond bark according to package instructions.
- Dip each brownie bomb into melted almond bark and coat fully.
- Tap off excess chocolate and place on wax paper.
- Allow chocolate coating to harden completely before serving.
Notes
- Do not overbake the brownies or the mixture will become dry.
- Pat cherries dry before adding to prevent leaking.
