Description

Creamy crab salad with fresh vegetables and dill in a mayonnaise dressing. Perfect served over lettuce, with crackers, or in a sandwich.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat
  • 1/2 cup celery finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • extra dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add imitation crab, celery, red onion, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, mayonnaise and dill to a large bowl.
  2. Stir gently until combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days.
  5. Garnish with additional dill before serving.

Notes

  1. Use imitation crab flakes for convenience.
  2. Fresh dill provides the best flavor.
  3. Substitute fresh crab meat if desired.
  4. Low-fat mayonnaise may be used.
