Description

Creamy Velveeta Chicken Spaghetti with Mozzarella Garlic Cheese Sauce is the ultimate weeknight comfort food. Tender spaghetti is coated in a luscious, cheesy garlic sauce made with Velveeta and mozzarella, then topped with juicy golden chicken slices. Ready in just 30 minutes, this dish is hearty, cosy, and guaranteed to be a family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 450 g (1 lb) chicken breast

  • 225 g (8 oz) spaghetti

  • 225 g (8 oz) Velveeta cheese, cubed

  • 120 g (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 30 g (2 tbsp) butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp (5 g) salt

  • ½ tsp (2.5 g) black pepper

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder if desired. Heat a skillet over medium-high and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Rest, then slice thinly.

  • Boil the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti for 8–10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Make the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in cubed Velveeta until melted, then whisk in mozzarella until smooth and creamy.

  • Combine: Add drained spaghetti to the sauce, tossing until fully coated.

  • Serve: Plate spaghetti, top with sliced chicken, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Add milk to thin the sauce if it’s too thick.

Season chicken with paprika or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.

Use olive oil for searing if you prefer crispier chicken.

Can be made ahead by cooking pasta and chicken in advance, then preparing the sauce fresh.

Freezer-friendly for up to 2 months, though the sauce texture may change slightly.
