Description

A quick one-pan Italian-inspired dinner made with golden seared chicken breasts, savory mushrooms, and a rich Marsala wine sauce. It’s elegant, flavorful, and ready in just 30 minutes—perfect for a busy weeknight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Chicken breasts

  • Sliced mushrooms

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup Marsala wine

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Sear chicken breasts until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic and mushrooms until soft.

  • Pour in Marsala wine, scraping up bits from the pan.

  • Return chicken to skillet. Simmer until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.

  • Serve hot with veggies or pasta.

Notes

Use boneless, skinless chicken for quicker cooking.

Substitute white wine if Marsala is unavailable.

For a creamier sauce, add a splash of cream at the end.
