- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Wash and slice the peaches into small pieces.
- Add peaches, sugar, and water to a medium saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
- Boil for 3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool for 30 minutes.
- Press the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
- Pour the syrup into a clean glass jar with a lid.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
