Description
These Garlic Parmesan Easy Stuffed Mushrooms are a quick and delicious appetizer, with a creamy, cheesy filling and a golden, crispy topping. Perfect for parties, family dinners, or any occasion that calls for a savory treat!
Ingredients
20 large white or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
4 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ cup breadcrumbs (optional for extra crunch)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel and remove stems. Set the caps aside on a baking sheet.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
3. Spoon the filling into each mushroom cap, pressing gently to fill completely.
4. Drizzle the stuffed mushrooms with olive oil. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Optionally, broil for 1-2 minutes to get a crispy topping.
5. Let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sautéed spinach or chopped sausage to the stuffing.
If you prefer gluten-free, swap breadcrumbs with gluten-free alternatives like ground almonds or skip them altogether.
If you’re preparing them ahead of time, stuff the mushrooms and store them in the fridge. Bake when ready to serve.
