Description

Fresh Green Cabbage Cucumber Salad made with cabbage, cucumbers, dill, and a light vinegar dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium green cabbage, shredded
  • 3 medium cucumbers, sliced
  • 45 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 6 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 4 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper together.
  2. Wash and dry all vegetables.
  3. Shred cabbage and place in a large bowl.
  4. Slice cucumbers thinly.
  5. Chop green onions and dill.
  6. Add vegetables to bowl.
  7. Pour dressing over salad.
  8. Toss well to combine.
  9. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

  1. Use fresh dill for best flavor.
  2. Chill before serving for softer cabbage.
  3. Store refrigerated up to 3 days.
