Description
A crispy Homemade Crunchwrap filled with seasoned ground beef, tostada, cheese sauce, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream, cooked golden on a griddle for an easy Taco Bell copycat dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 6 large flour tortillas (12 inch)
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese sauce
- 6 tostadas
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2.5 cups shredded lettuce
- 1.5 cups salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 small flour tortillas (6 inch)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the griddle to medium heat about 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cook ground beef with taco seasoning on the griddle until no longer pink about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Warm the cheese sauce while the beef cooks.
- Place one large tortilla flat and add one sixth of the cooked beef to the center.
- Drizzle two tablespoons of cheese sauce over the beef and place a tostada on top.
- Spread sour cream on the tostada then add shredded lettuce salsa and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place a small tortilla on top and fold the edges of the large tortilla around the center until fully enclosed.
- Add olive oil to the griddle and place the crunchwrap seam side down.
- Cook about 3 minutes until golden brown then flip and cook the other side until crisp.
Notes
- Room temperature or lightly warmed tortillas fold easier without tearing.
- Do not overfill the center or folding becomes difficult.
- Cook seam side down first to seal the wrap.
- For extra crispiness cook at slightly higher heat for a shorter time.
