Description

Homemade Peach Lemonade is a fresh summer drink made with lemon juice, peach syrup, cold water, and ice. It is sweet, tart, fruity, and perfect for porch sipping or backyard gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, about 4 to 6 lemons
  • 1 cup peach syrup
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Peach slices and lemon slices for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the peach simple syrup according to your preferred recipe, then let it cool before mixing the lemonade.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice and 4 cups cold water.
  3. Add 1 cup peach syrup to the pitcher and stir well until fully mixed.
  4. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more peach syrup, or add more cold water for a lighter drink.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  6. Pour the peach lemonade over the ice.
  7. Garnish with peach slices and lemon slices, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately while cold.

Notes

  1. Use ripe, juicy peaches for the best syrup flavor. They should feel slightly soft and smell sweet.
  2. Taste the lemonade after mixing and adjust with more peach syrup or water as needed.
  3. Freshly squeezed lemon juice gives the best flavor, though bottled lemon juice can work in a pinch.
  4. Do not add ice to the storage pitcher because melted ice will dilute the lemonade.
  5. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and stir before serving.
