Description

Korean Ground Beef and Rice Bowls are an easy 20-minute dinner bursting with sweet and savory flavors.


Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef (90%)

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

2 tsp sesame oil

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 cups cooked rice

Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

1. Cook beef and garlic in skillet until browned; drain grease.

2. Whisk sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, pepper flakes, and pepper in bowl.

3. Pour sauce over beef; simmer for 2 minutes.

4. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use brown rice for extra fiber. Add vegetables for more nutrition. Great for meal prep or freezing.
