Description

A hearty breakfast classic made with sausage, crispy hash browns, eggs, and melted cheese. Perfect for weekends or family gatherings.


Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled

1 bag (20 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed

8 large eggs

1 cup milk (240ml)

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (170g)

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Optional: bell peppers, spinach, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook sausage in skillet until browned. Drain.

3. Spread thawed hash browns evenly in dish.

4. Whisk eggs, milk, and seasonings; pour over sausage and hash browns.

5. Top with cheddar cheese.

6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set.

7. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Thaw and dry hash browns before use.

Use quality cheese for best results.

Add veggies or spice for variation.

Can be prepped ahead and refrigerated overnight.
