Description

A deliciously indulgent dessert that combines the classic flavors of Snickers bars—creamy nougat, chewy caramel, crunchy peanuts, and rich chocolate—into a moist, rich chocolate cake. This Snickers Poke Cake is layered with caramel and condensed milk filling, topped with whipped cream, and garnished with chopped Snickers and peanuts. It’s the perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (or homemade chocolate cake)

  • 1 cup caramel sauce

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tub whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)

  • 4–6 Snickers bars, chopped

  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the chocolate cake as per the package instructions (or make from scratch). Bake in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Once baked, allow the cake to cool slightly, then poke holes all over the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon or a thick straw.

  • Mix the caramel sauce and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl. Slowly pour the mixture over the warm cake, focusing on the holes, ensuring the cake absorbs the filling.

  • Let the cake sit for about 30 minutes to soak up the filling.

  • Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

  • Spread the whipped topping evenly over the chilled cake.

  • Top with chopped Snickers bars and roasted peanuts (optional).

  • Drizzle additional caramel and chocolate sauce on top if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade caramel sauce.

You can swap Snickers for other candy bars like Twix or Milky Way for different variations.

If using homemade whipped cream, serve the cake soon after applying it as it may soften faster than store-bought topping.

You can make this cake ahead of time, and it even tastes better the next day.
