Soft Pretzel Bites are chewy, golden, bite-sized pretzels made from soft dough and finished with a classic baking soda bath, perfect for dipping and sharing.
Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 10 cups water
- ⅔ cup baking soda
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon water
- Coarse sea salt or pretzel salt
Instructions
- Combine warm water and sugar, then bloom yeast until foamy
- Add butter, salt, and flour and knead until smooth
- Let dough rise until doubled in size
- Bring water and baking soda to a boil
- Divide dough, roll into ropes, and cut into bites
- Boil bites for 30 seconds and drain
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with salt
- Bake until deep golden brown
