Description

Crispy taco salad cups made with wonton wrappers, seasoned ground meat, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. Perfect for parties and quick appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup ground beef or turkey
  • 2 teaspoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place wonton wrappers into a muffin pan and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Bake for 5 minutes until slightly crisp then remove from oven.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-low heat.
  5. Cook ground meat until browned, breaking it apart.
  6. Add taco seasoning and stir well then remove from heat.
  7. Divide meat evenly into wonton cups.
  8. Top with cheese, lettuce, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Use a small amount of meat per cup to keep shells crisp.
  2. Add toppings just before serving to prevent sogginess.
  3. You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
